Your cart is empty.The Adjustable Hand Vise has a rotating hardwood wood handle that gives you a secure and no-slip grip on your piece. To tighten, you simply rotate the handle, and you reverse rotation to loosen. The jaws are made from hardened steel for durability and the handle is wood for a comfortable grip. The jaws are approximately 15mm (0.590 inch) wide and 6mm (0.23) thick. They open to a maximum of 6mm (0.23). What makes this vise indispensable, is that the jaws feature one long horizontal groove and a series of 5 vertical grooves. These different groves are useful in holding items such as earring posts,wires, or pins. The overall length of the vise is approximately 5-1/2 inches.

Is there a trick to getting the jaws to line-up evenly? Are allll amzn's tools dropped onto concrete from eighty feet? Does ANY company anywhere on earth hire QC people anymore? The hecks going on here guys. This is somehow simultaneously really well-made AND annoyingly shoddy

It just works, as a hand vice should. Jaws line up, handle is nicely finished. Just a good tool.

I thought I would skip the cheap ones that were less than half the price of this, but it appears they might be the same... The v grooves are way off, the center bolt isn't straight, and even though it seems like they ground down the tip portion after the jaws are installed, they still don't line up! Very different from the advertised photos...

Works better than vice grips or pliers for holding onyo small parts. Opens up about 1/4" or 5mm. It wasn't as big as I thought but I like the size, now might see if there are bigger ones too.
