My son has had roller skates, but wanted rollerblades because he’s trying to learn to ice skate so that he can play hockey.These rollerblades are fun and cool looking. The wheels light up, which is great for kids - and adults - it’s just fun and everyone should have light up wheels. They glide well on cement or nice blacktop.The fit is pretty good. They’re adjustable, so the fit can be adjusted. They’re never going to be the most comfortable or highest quality. If you are looking for that, you’ll need much more expensive rollerblades in a specific size. For our needs these were a good choice.

These are GREAT. Most importantly, they are fully adjustable through MANY shoe sizes. Kids can use these for years at a time (and the skate seems durable enough to actually allow for this) and the sizing is both really easy to change AND it is secure, so you don't have a situation where the boot loosens up unexpectedly. These are really tough, durable boots that hold the ankle really firmly in place. My kiddo has pretty small ankles and they are held in place well inside the boot, but the plush padding means a lot of leg shapes will be just fine. These are fun and colorful and the flashing lights aren't too distracting for the skater (but they do provide some incentive for those kiddos who are a little nervous to learn to skate!). They definitely aren't super bright, which is great for safety, but they are bright enough to be fun. The wheels are very smooth-rolling and stable. These are a great, affordable option.

These are great skates! The kids love them.One of the better features of these skates are a size adjustability to make them a perfect fit. Another great feature is the adjustable strap at the top of the skate. It allows you to make a tight fit on the legs and the skates' structure holds the ankles straight making skating and learning to skate much easier.These are well worth the money and have held up well for several minths so far. I recommend them!

It's amazing how far these adjustable skates have come in a relatively short time. They used to be uncomfortable, invariably loose, and not well made and have now evolved to where they can be almost as reliable as a true to fit pair of skates -- at least for someone just starting out.Our 6 year old loves the color, and the balance and stability has helped improve his confidence as he learns to skate. At some point we may upgrade to a fitted pair but until then these are excellent quality and will grow with him for at least a few more shoe sizes.

Our son has consistently asked to go ice skating after getting his first taste this season; unfortunately our winter didn't cooperate. These have become the perfect substitute.I like the fact that these are adjustable and should last for a few seasons. Our son likes the style and has stated that they are supportive of his ankles. All straps seem solid.The description reads these are ABEC-7 bearings, which would indicate these should coast without issue. That has not been my experience and these feel like a lower rated bearing. For us, this is fine as our son is not very proficient on skates, however, for those parents whose kids are more skilled I could see the potential for disappointment.I'd recommend for beginner to intermediate skaters.

These roller skates are well designed and made. They are very sturdy and seem to last long. They are tightened to your feet and ankles in all three ways: shoe lace, hook and loop strap, and resistance buckle. The tightness can provide support and protection of your feet and ankles. The feature that I like most is the adjustable size, which is particularly useful as kids grow. I normally wear size 7 shoes, The large size for youth fits perfectly on my feet. I also ordered the medium size for my 9 year old boys. They like them very much. I have no complaints so far and highly recommend.

These skates are made surprisingly well, from the robust plastic and other materials of the boots to the quality wheels and precision bearings. A nice first impression. These fit our nine-year-old boy in 10 year old girl, with a little adjusting, the adjustability factor is a big plus. I've never really seen children's inline skates before so I don't know if that's common or not. And then the event the kids had a lot of fun, up and down the driveway, in and out of the garage, smiling and laughing the whole time. To me that's all that matters. If it puts a smile on their face, it's worth it, five stars!PS. I expect these to last.

For the price, these are pretty good rollerblades. According to my son, they are comfortable and it was very easy to adjust the size. After he put it on, I would slide/adjust it and asked him when it wasn’t hitting his toes and when it was comfortable. The straps work well enough. The top plastic strap is a bit difficult to unlock and tighten, but I found that to be true with all the other children’s skates we’ve gotten in the past.All the wheels did not roll freely. Some would spin for a while and others would stop almost immediately when testing them with my hand. This is fine because we don’t want him going too fast. All the wheels did light up. When he used them, they rolled just fine and smoothly. Overall, I would not say these are the highest quality or the fastest rollerblades, but for the price and comfort, they are great.
