I have a couple of projects lined up where I knew I would need a scaffold just like this so I picked it up. The scaffold fold up into a 30” by 16” by 7” rectangular box and, coupled with its relatively light weight, makes it easy to transport and store. Let me clarify: it is not light but it is also not as heavy as expected, weighing about 25 lbs. It has built in cloth handles which are of dubious durability but do make it easy to transport. Setup and take down are relatively easy (but see below); the legs on both sides are adjustable making it easier to work with the scaffold on uneven ground or on stairs. Speaking of adjustable, the scaffold can be set at four heights ranging between 28 and 41 inches high. Getting up on it, at least for me, requires a step ladder, as I find the 15 inch wide steel mesh deck tough to get up on without it. I will say that once on it it was stable and relatively easy to move and work on. I will also say that I found it a little unnerving to be up on at first (and I was on the lowest setting) and it took me a little while to get used to. The deck gives me almost a 5 foot run to work on, which is enough for me. The scaffold also works well as a work table when painting or doing drywall, etc; just be sure to put a drop cloth under it as the nature of the deck allows for spillage directly underneath. The scaffold is rugged and should be able to stand up to the wear and tear I will impose on it over the years to come.I do have some complaints however. The first has to do with setup and takedown: while both are relatively easy to do, the operations are not as fast as I might like. This is due to how the scaffold deck and legs are locked into place: the scaffold uses screws to lock them and they take time to fasten and unfasten. I think a better system could have been employed. I will say that once locked into place its not going to fail. Also you really need to wear gloves when setting it up or taking it down: there are lots of pinch points on this scaffold platform. The steel mesh deck on it is also pretty rough on the hands as well. The seller does provide a pair of gloves as a gift.Overall, I am glad I got this. It is sturdy and I find it useful for big painting projects and the like. The fact that it is as compact and easily transportable, even in a regular car (unlike my ladders), allows me to take it wherever I need, whenever I need. Even though I have not taken advantage of the independent adjustability of the legs yet, I expect the feature to be important for me in the near future.
