Excellent little adjustable stand - It's 7" tall and has an extension screw of 5" It now holds a 1-ton shed with no problem.

I used this to prop up the center of my futon frame when it began to sag. Subtle enough, not particularly noticeable, and I no longer have to worry about the wooden beam of my futon cracking in the middle!

Sturdy enough, but not jackable once loaded. The other style I bought can be jacked under load by rotating threaded portion.

This screw jack fit perfectly on the front end of a diving platform we created. It'll be the redundancy to make sure no tipping ever occurs.
