the design of these training wheels would work if your bike has longer studshowever, these did not fit on my kid's bike whereas the ones i got from walmart worked finethe design wastes about a quarter inch of stud lengththe wheels spin smoothly and lights up

Our kid has been using a Guardian bike with no pedals for about a month and balances beautifully but once I put on pedals he became so obsessed with staring at his feet he was losing balance.After a couple spills I decided to get him some training wheels just to get him comfortable with the pedal motion.These are ok. They come with no instructions at all but they are pretty self explanatory. I'm using on a 16 inch bike and don't love the amount of metal that pokes up and if this was his first time on a bike I'd probably get something made specifically for a 16 inch but because I don't anticipate this being on long they should work.Overall for the price they are good. Don't regret getting them

As a father, I can't recommend these training wheels enough. I got a couple of extra bikes and needed something to help my 7 and 5 year olds start learning to ride.Installation was really a piece of cake and I was able to put them on the 17 and 20 inch bikes with ease. These things are very sturdy.Now, the shiny feature is something the kids love! The wheels light up when they pedal - something I didn't expect when I purchased them. It gives them a boost and I think it also helps with safety in low light situations. And they are silent - no rattling or anything to distract them while they get the hang of it.These training wheels are worth their weight in gold. They give kids the confidence to ride a bike and now, good luck getting them off the bike. This is a great product!

As long as you tighten the bolts, to the bike; you and your kid should be good to go. The blue looks sharp and almost matches the blue on his bike.
