Looks good, I did not test how much weight it can hold but my daughter likes it. It is secured by the 2 Velcro straps so as long as you get them on tight and secure it should be fine. I did not put the handle on, we think it looks better without. The basket is painted so it should not rust, and it is lightweight to make it good for biking. One thing to keep in mind is that it will probably block the front facing reflector if you have one between the handlebars like this bike.

I bought a vintage bike for yard decor that I pull out in the spring and it sits outside all season until I bring it in when the snow flies. I wanted to add a basket so I can put a pot of flowers in it and this basket is the perfect size. I like the rounded shape as it will fit a pot perfectly. The basket itself appears well made - the sides are vinyl coated wire mesh which is a small grid so if you were using it for something else things will stay put and not fall out. It comes with straps that can clip on to the sides of the basket and you can carry it as such, or strap it to the handlebars using velcro. The straps and velcro is where I have the problem. The carrying straps are a very thin webbing material and have cheap plastic swivel clips at each end. There is a velcro piece in the middle of one strap so you can undo and strap both handles together. The velcro straps that are used to attach the basket to the bike are, in my opinion, not strong enough to hold 33 lbs of anything. I honestly think the velcro around the carrying straps is stronger than those pieces that are used to hold it to the bike. Fortunately I won't need a lot of holding power as I'll be putting a pot of fake flowers in it as I'll be too lazy to walk to where I keep the bike to water a real plant lol. I'm not expecting these straps to hold up to the weather so I'll come up with something different in the future.
