I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt that a brand new sensor wouldn’t be broken, but after testing and buying another directly from site it was in fact the sensor itself. Waste of 80$ dollars and too late to return . Avoid !!

Don't waste your money. Ive put maybe 400 miles on my turbocharged motorcycle since installing the AEM 150psi sensor. As seen in the first datalog picture (bottom field) the sensor starts out operating properly but eventually tapers off to zero. After checking pressure with a mechanical gauge I knew the sensor was at fault. The second datalog is with a $14.83 "Amazon Special" 150psi sensor from the "Walfront" store.Funnily enough, Ive put those $15 sensors in just about everything that Ive built over the years due to disposable income shortages. I think I have 3 of them in my sim rig hydraulic pedals and hand brake even. With the bike, and having a bit more disposable income, I choose not to cheap out on parts. It gets name brand or OEM everything, and more often than not that means parts are considerably more expensive. AEM should be a trusted brand, but at a 100% fail rate in my experience, Ill just go ahead and stick with the cheap ones.I will say, the offered clip and terminals is nicer than the pre-wired connectors offered with the cheaper units. Nicer because they are just crimp, pin, and done. Better than soldering or butt-connectors with the cheap alternative. However, I cant even bump my star from 1 to 2 for this due to the terminals also being an issue. They too failed failed the first time I disconnected the sensor and no longer lock into the connector. Could I pull them apart and bend the lock tabs (if the plastic seats aren't what let go) sure. But I shouldn't have to...If you are looking to replace the AEM with the $18 unit, the connector and pinout is the same, so its a plug and play operation.

I've had to replace 3 of these 150psi oil pressure sensors from AEM this year alone, they work great for about a month then start fluctuating pressure and then quit all together not long afterVery dissatisfied

Finally. Something accurate. Bought one of those other cheap ones on Amazon from China. It was off by 20psi. This one...spot on the first time!

Update: less than two months since installing the replacement pressure sender, this one has failed. The original one had lasted about 6 years. While I thought that should have lasted longer, two months is not acceptable!

Worked great for 3 months then stopped reading just like the other 2 sensors.

Mostly reasonably priced, and AEM branded, which means it works just fine and will continue to do so.
