This bag is well executed, made from a heavy-duty material, with a superb stitching, and has well designed pockets and storage areas. I have only one critique: the buckled loop for securing the upper portion of the fishing rod needs to be improved. The top attachment point of the rod swings around, having been attached only to the D-ring via clip. It should have been velcroed and stitched, in order to hold the rod securely in transit.Actually, there is one more: the MOLLE straps are spaced narrower than the spec. It is usable, but you may have to crimp the strap a little, in order to attach items.Otherwise, there is nothing more I can ask for from this useful and impressive piece of kit.

Bought 3 of these as xmas presents and they are amazing! My husband, son, and daughter love them and stuff all kinds of things in them. Very sturdy and will last a long time.

I'm an avid fisherman looking for a good crossback bag with a few good pockets. Storage for fly kits, baits, lines etc and a sturdy rod holder. This advertises all of those things but actually has none of them. It's very uncomfortable in the position across the back. It has 2 massive compartments with 2 flimsy pockets inside. Nowhere to properly store gear for easy access. You'll be dumping the whole thing out everytime you need something as it will all be buried and inaccessible when you need it. The rod holder is a velcro strap that doesn't hold your rod tightly or straight. It flops around and comes undone with even the slightest jolt. Exceptionally poor designs on all fronts. This bag is a 0 star all the way. Advertises everything. Delivers nothing.

The bag is great seems to be made very well. The zippers are nice and smooth the pockets are just right. The only thing I didn’t like was it did not have a chest strap to strap the shoulder straps together so they don’t slide down your shoulders. After sewing a chest strap on I really like it it stays put now. The shoulder strap for the chest carry needed a cushion so I put one on from an old soft cooler I had. Other than the chest strap and the small pad the bag is awesome.

Bag was perfect to carry tackle and tools. I didn’t want a heavy tackle box to carry since I was taking my small boy with me. The over-the-shoulder bag works great. The bag had more space than I imagined. I can fit 3 plastic tackle boxes in the main compartment, along with tools and accessories. The plastic tackle box provided was not usable; none of my lures or worms fit. I had other plastic boxes that worked better. I bought because of the bag, not the included box.

I bought this for the price and a need to keep something on my car for that quick fishing trip to the local lake. Some of the things i did not care for is the rod holder, it's just not practical for a spinning rod or baitcaster by the way it attaches to the backpack. Many hidden pockets and plenty of room for a day trip.This is also not waterproof and will retain water if wet, Zippers are exposed and will leak in water if raining. It is very comfortable to wear and not a hassle to move around in, you can fish difficult areas and this will not hinder movement (unless you have a rod attached to it) The bottle holder will fit a 20oz (600ml) metal container tightly. the first time using it i was stopped by a few people asking where i got it from. This is perfect for shore fishing and exploring new remote fishing areas. holds a 4006/4007 (11"x7") tackle box perfectly with room to spare. Just don't buy it for the fishing rod holder.
