I have several of these LED lights. Purchased for our company trucks when a caution light is needed to alert the public is required. Toss on the truck or bumper, the bright amber LED lights can be seen for miles.Built-in rechargeable battery, able to charge with cigarette outlet or 110/v wall outlet.Magnetic on bottom, attach to roof of truck driving 60 mph, light stays stuck. Not something I would recommend but several times I have forgotten to remove the light.Don't purchase the cheaper brands, I have had several that continue to operate perfectly that are 6 yrs old. Bought another truck since Trump was elected, drill baby drill, plan on buying several more as the economy improves finally with jobs

I use these flares with a special bracket to hang on the back of my overhanging loads that we haul over the road. They are pretty durable.

This flare is very bright and is easier to use than the previous model. The LED bulbs are larger and there is two rows of them. The power on/pattern cycle button is much easier to press then the previous model. I like both models but this model is definitely and upgrade. The device is rugged and has a magnet to attach to the car if needed.For regular consumers it may not be obvious to check your local laws before ordering any color besides yellow. Blue or red may not be allowed. Check before ordering! I think yellow should be fine for most people.

Ordered 2 LED flares for use in my automobile in case of an emergency. I selected the yellow ones based on other reviews by Aervoe flare buyers about the 'orange' flare appearing red. I figured yellow would signal caution just as well as orange. The flares are not as bright as I thought they would be, but I have no doubt they will get attention at night. I found them easy to operate though I would suggest tracing the power button with a bold pen (like a sharpie) as the power button (IEC 5009 symbol) is moulded into the case and hard to find. The shape is the only thing that I have a reservation about. Being a hexagon, I'm not sure how visible it will be if you are not at a perpendicular angle to one of the sides. I think the standard Aervoe LED flare, being round, would provide greater visibility. I plan to buy 2 standard Aervoe LED flares in addition to my 2 Super LED flares. Overall, these seem well made and will be a nice addition to my vehicle emergency kit. I have already recommended these to my friends.
