Patu is famous in the northern regions like the north of Afghanistan, and the northern areas of Pakistan like Swat and Chitral that’s why it is often refer to these areas as Afghan Patoo, Swati Patoo, and Chitrali Shari. It gained international recognition during the war in Afghanistan when Pashtoon fighters and Taliban’s pictures surfaced on the internet wearing these shawls along with the Pakols or turbans. It is brand new blanket shawl, handmade with 100% pure wool, in Swat Pakistan. It is an ideal shawl for winters, and on cold nights during camping on a hilly station. Size is approximately 45 inches (wide) x 90 inches (length) Size in centimeters (cm): 115cm x 230cm (approx.) Preferably hand wash the patu in lukewarm water and a good quality detergent but it is also machine washable (delicates).

Worst and bad quality worst ever fabric it says in descriptions it made of silk but no its cheap fabric.
