This cup is about half the size of others I have, which is what I wanted, but I can see people being surprised at how small it is if they didn’t read the description carefully. It’s listed as holding 5 oz, but that amount of water will fill it to the brim if empty, or might overflow, depending how much maté you put in the cup. 4oz is more realistic. The pic compares an 8oz cup (cream colored) to this one (green). The finish on the outside is nice, but there are issues around the rim where I’m not sure what happened. It looks like bits of metal got knocked off all the way around somehow, which you can see in the second picture.It comes with a little lid, and a bombilla that fits well in the lid’s hole if you insert it from the inside. When those are in place, the rough edges are not noticeable.

This is my favorite go-to coffee glass when sipping strong coffee from my moka pot. It fits in my hand perfectly and holds more than an espresso shot but less than a typical glass. It is an insulated tumbler with a double layer of stainless steel. I prefer cold coffee. This keeps it cool as long as I need it to.It came with a straw and a small cover, which I don't need.The dark blue coating is very attractive. There is no non-skid layer on the bottom.

I filled this cup with boiling water. The cup size (5oz) and shape is easy to hold for child or grownup. The outside of the cup does not get too warm as it has a double wall, but the metal ring does get a little hot. This cup comes with a metal bombillas straw which allows one to also use loose leaf tea (the spoon shaped bottom of the straw has holes on both sides allowing the tea to flow). There was a brush included for easy straw cleaning. I wanted this to make and take loose tea on the go. I get a lot of specialized tea locally and really enjoy the flavors. The straw enables me to sip on the go. The cup easily fits in a purse or backpack. I have not tried it with a cold beverage because I have a taller go cup for my water. I believe this would be the perfect size for children as well.

This mate cup is great for on the go. The lid fits nicely and prevents leaking. The insulated inside is a nice touch, it kept my mate warm. The only downside to this particular cup is that it is very small as well as its bombilla. It's definitely is my smallest mate cup. You have to refill it very often because of its size. This may not be an issue for everyone, and it certainly isn't a huge one for me. It's not a big enough issue to stop me from using it. Even though the cup is small, it is a decent cup, and I like it.

You will be pleased when you receive this yerba mate. teacup. My first time using one and I am really impressed with the tea that it produces. It is so much better brewing your tea in this manner. It is 8 ounces and comes with a straw and a cleaning brush. It also comes with a lid. It is very easy to use and once you do you will never brew your tea any other way. It is comfortable to hold with its great design. I chose it in the gray. If you are looking for a better way and they better tasting tea I recommend this yerba mate tea cup.

This small mate set is perfect for solo use when you just want a quick sip without wasting too much mate. Its size makes it ideal for a quick shot of energy and a moment of repose. Even the bombilla is small and well-filtered, for a smooth experience.

Perfect size so I don't use too much yerba at a time. The bombilla is short, but not to big around. It filters well, and works great. The cup seems to be insulated and holds temperature well. I love the green color.
