I bought this pump in September. I use it once every 3 days for about 3 hours each time. After 5 months, a burning smell started coming from it, and it stopped working. The price was definitely good, but when this happens, you realize it is better to get something better, even if it is three times the price. In the long run, you will save money, and you only get a one-month warranty, so it is not a good choice if you are looking for a sump pump.

probably a little too powerful for what I needed it for but it will be great if my basement ever gets flooded. I'm using it to pump grey water from my small camper into the sewage and it blasts it in there!

Previously posted:It takes a lot more water level than 5/8” as described to automatically turn on and it turns off leaving a lot more level than 1/3” as described. I should have not purchased this. Another issue is that the seller sent me the obviously used/returned pump. It was messy inside the box with parts all over and the pump and other parts were heavily greased everywhere even seeping through the box. The previous buyer used grease to detach/unscrew the parts and put them in the box to return. Very disappointed with their product and seller.Update: The seller contacted me to solve issues and offered a new replacement or full refund. I appreciate great follow-up and customer service. Thank you.

We live in the tropical rain forest, and so have been through several submersible pumps over the years. The Agiman is one of the best I have used. It does have enough suction power to drain (even a deep) in ground pool. It drains the water down to a fraction of an inch and then turns off suction. You caj leave it plugged in, because if it fills up again the pump will kick back in. (This is a daily experience for us ;)If I could I would have rated it 4.5 stars. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is that it is made of plastic. We had a Wayne pump which lasted us close to 10 years. I have only had this a few months and wso can not say how long it will last, but I am guessing not 10 years. The other pump is 30% more expensive. This is unquestionably the best pump I have fouind in this price range, and I have tried a few.

The shutoff us superior to the heat and float switches I’ve used in the past.It fits into the 5 gallon bucket I modified for sump.

It has auto start. But not auto shut off. Wish it would stop when water is low. But happy with pump.
