I bought this as a low entry instrument to a Brazilian jam session. The metal fabrication does not allow the bell to resonate or make much more that a dull clank. You'd do better hitting some table forks together or purchasing a higher quality instrument. I don't think you'd have to spend much more to get something significantly better. Don't bother with this one.
