I bought this to use at work. The display worked fine and the image was good, unit was nice and portable, but unfortunately, the video output that generates the test signal ONLY generates PAL video format. It DOES NOT GENERATE NTSC video! So although the display works for both PAL and NTSC, the test signal generator only works on PAL, making it useless in North America. If you just need to display NTSC video, this unit is great. If you need to output an NTSC test signal to test other equipment, forget it. I gave tech support 5 stars as they replied quickly to my questions about the lack of NTSC output. Didn't use the unit for more than 10-15 minutes before boxing it up for return, so I can't comment on durability or battery life.
