Cheap. The gold layer is such a fake yellow! The locket functions though. Not terrible for costume or for kids’ dress up. It was inexpensive. Get what you pay for I guess.

My 7 year old son wanted to buy this for his best friend at school. She loved it! The picture place was small- but we were able to make it work. Amazing price and great gift for any little girl. Highly recommend!

At first I was a bit hesitant to get it cuz of the bad reviews about the quality and the "super short chain" but as it was a gift for my 9 year old who is obsessed with mermaids I thought how bad could it be and ordered one in rose gold...and to be honest when it arrived I considered keeping it for myself lol. There's no pretence that this is "fine jewelry" but for the price u can't expect it to be. I wouldnt wear it regularly as I could see the finish would come off pretty easy, Its very delicate looking. The chain was long enough to go over my head without opening it and the latch worked fine. My daughter loved it and so far it hasnt fallen apart! ...and I'm still thinking of ordering one for me :)

This was purchased as a gift for a little girl's birthday. The party theme was "little mermaid" and the locket was a big hit. It fits a tiny photo inside. Great price! It's not made of a precious metal, but kids play rough and that just means I don't have to worry if it gets broken.

I am very disappointed in this purchase it was a complete waste of money. First, this is like a choker the chain is extremely short. Second, the shell is about the size of a nickel. Very small and not what I expected at all.
