Was a lot better quality than oem to be surprised, did also come with a rubber end protector to keep dirt and debris out of the sleeve and has an extended and flared opening on the clutch side for what it was worth, it's a definite recommendation to a near or better oem product, that is compared to the cable on my 04 V-Star 650

I don't know I just bought it for spare parts I don't know if it would work or if it wouldn't I just don't like the looks of it but I'm going to order an actual Yamaha cable from the dealer cuz I got to be safe on the road this will just be an emergency spare

2006 Vstar 650 classic: fit was tight, but it did fit. Also includes a rubber flex hose between adjustment and engine mount so that's a plus. Overall happy with fitment, hardware, and function.

Fits great and does exactly what it should. As far as anything besides a stock handlebar Iām not sure about fitment, but if you do have stock bars, this cable is a great choice. Very happy with it.
