I used this to make a Christmas gift. It turned out great. Just make sure you have all the tools you need and you have done your research before opening. It dries out really fast.

Maybe it was a bad batch? But this dried out instantly even in a humid environment. Plastic wrap had nothing on it. Also, even when firing more 5-8 minutes, pieces broke? Again, maybe just a bad batch.

I was so excited for this, but it let me down on usability. I've used other brand before, but this one dried out and become a crumbled mess in seconds. There is no working time.

I bought this to make a pure silver fingerprint pendant. This can be fired with just a small hand torch, providing the item being fired isn't too big. Just make sure the item is properly sintered. The pendant came out fine after a few minutes under the torch.

I’ve always wanted to try a PMC before and finally got two things to Amazon and their prices. The one thing thing you need to know about this clay is that don’t follow the instructions they gave you follow the instructions for a normal PMC.. you want to put it in a high heat kill or torture gently at about a peach color, For a few seconds and control the heat really well otherwise it’ll melt into a blob that’s what happens with Silver. I only tried a little sample piece. I can’t wait to try an actual piece. I’m so excited.

I was able to make one pendant with this precious metal clay. (I could probably make two small pendants.) Once I was set with my design in the soft clay, I used an embosser (kind of like a high heat hair dryer) to dry it quicker. After about 6 min, checked if it was dry and used my torch to fire it. A flame will appear briefly on the clay piece as the binder burns out, and then keep it at a peach color for about 4 min and then it will turn bright white. Use tweezers to place in little ceramic bowl of water to quench(cool) it. Then burnish (steel wool, or back of spoon) it to make it shine! I added a patina with liver of sulfur, then burnished it again to give shine and make the details stand out!

But this stuff is amazing! I bought some to experiment for firing during a jewelry class…easy to work with. Set up beautifully. Fired amazingly. This is my first time working with it. Watched a YouTube tutorial. Had some garnet beads, thread on a silver wire, embedded in clay. Fired with butane torch for 5 minutes. Voila! Time to try more!!

This is the 3rd time I have purchased this product. It is easy to work with, it fires well, and the end product is excellent.
