My idle surge was reduced, not solved. Along with not solving the problem, The plastic intake tube developed an incredibly loud vibration. Research indicated that the IAC Valve was the problem. I thoroughly cleaned the original unit and reinstalled it. Cleaning the original worked better than this new one. Lesson learned: Buy factory parts not inexpensive aftermarket.

All metal construction. Takes a little maneuvering to put in but it's a DIY project. Fits and works like OEM. Fixed my high idle issue.
