This worked okay, but I had to turn the clamps around because they were on backwards from what the original ones were. But seems to be working fine.

I have been having problems with this engine ever since I got it, turns out that it was a broken inlet hose that was causing all of the malfunctions. I had so many engine codes that could not be traced down even after replacing the parts. I put this on and all of my problems went away, even though I still have an engine light.The engine is responsive again, unlike it was before.

Installed a few months back and still going strong! The stock air intake hose split apart (almost all the way around the hose) just above the clamp connecting it to the intake causing a LOT of sputtering. Ran horribly. But after installing this hose, nice and smooth again. Quality has been great so far. I see no cracks or dry rotting. Not sure if it matters or not, but I live in GA, and these humid summers are pretty brutal. This hose is a bit softer than the factory installed hose, but I think that will help its longevity overall as this hose was meant to be able to flex when the motor moves while driving.

It was a lot easier to install than what it was to remove the old hose..... I watched some YouTube videos for information on this intake hose and it was just like the videos said.....it's not easy to remove the old hose..... This is a Chevy engineering issue and has nothing to do with the hose... It probably took 30 - 45 minutes before I was done but beats the hell out of taking to the dealership which I imagine would have been hundreds of dollars before it was said and done. If there's any issues down the road I will report that.

While it is NOT EXACTLY like the original, the bends are slightly off, it fits. If i had had the proper length 5/16 socket, or short enough extension, would've a breeze. I did like that the clamp on the bottom (attaches to throttle body) was angled a little better for easier access, probably a benefit of the not quite an exact matchWithheld my comments on durability rating as i just got it. Seems to be made of quality materials
