Controls Air Flow Mode
These AC actuator controls the flow of air from the floor, vents, and defrost position. These actuator are sometimes referred to as the "blend door actuator" and is located on under the dashboard, on the driver side.

They seem to be working fine for my 2004 GMC Sierra. Hopelly they will last a long time because they are so hard to install. I had to completely remove my dashboard and a/c vents.
