The item installed in less than a minute. It fits well and fully covers the intake grate. I believe it will effectively filter out the leaves and smaller debris as designed. My only concern is the incredibly brittle plastic it is made of. At least 3 of the clips broke off when I put light pressure on the filters to seat them. I’m hoping that errant plastic isn’t going to become a problem…wherever it went. 😬

As the summary says, the device installs easily and quickly. The screen comes in two halves, it takes less than 5 minutes to snap both halves in position, and then you're done!

Prevents debris and leaves esp this fall season. Combine it with the hood barrier and the covers on both sides of the frunk then it will really elevate the protection for unwanted dirts, leaves and other elements from entering the ac intake.

My Y was delivered in June of 2021. It has a single air intake on the passenger side of the vehicle. The second photo shows the the intake is only on the left; the right side is blocked.The third photo was what was in the box.I think this item is for the later biodefense version of the Y.
