I have 2 air purifiers in my studio, this one is the one I turn off at night. Its a little loud for nighttime. Also, like my other air purifier there really is no 2nd speed. There is low or high. You will not be able to distinguish when the speed has moved from 1 to 2 as the fan stays the same. Its an attractive design and works well. The light is a little bright but I threw electrical tape over it and that cured that.

This air purifier works like a charm! It’s whisper-quiet and effectively removes dust, pet hair, and odors. The aromatherapy feature is a great bonus, making my room smell fresh and clean. Perfect size for a bedroom—powerful, compact, and stylish! Highly recommend!

Bought for use in my Mother’s Assisted Living small bedroom. Easy to set up, could smell the difference in air quality within 20-30 minutes. I leave it on #2 power, has a light noise level hum that she can’t hear and is a much healthier and cost efficient option than buying air fresheners to make the body function smells.

I have never owned an air purifier before and with our horrible fires in California decided to purchase one. So far this purifier does exactly what it promises and is perfect for the size it purifies. It's quiet, and I can already notice the better smelling air inside. It smells fresh inside and looking forward to using it daily.

I’ve been using this unit in my bedroom for less than a week. I’m sleeping thru the night again and no longer wake up with a stuffy nose. The sleep mode is very quiet. There is a small subtle blue light that is on. It doesn’t bother me. If it I would put some electrical tape over it, but it’s so minor it doesn’t affect my sleep. I love that I am able to breathe easier now

I wanted a small air purifier for our bedroom that was capable of purifying the air in a room that size. This one is supposed to work up to 499 ft.², which is more than enough for our bedroom, and the aromatherapy function was really appealing to me.This air purifier is an attractive, modern-looking unit, which doesn’t take up too much space on my dresser. On the lowest setting, it’s very quiet and would be unlikely to disturb anyone’s sleep. On the highest setting, the sound it produces would be equivalent to a room fan. I personally like having white noise while I sleep, so I have no problem with keeping it on high.We’ve been using this at night for a few weeks now and have noticed a fairly significant reduction in the amount of dust in the bedroom. It seems to be doing a good job of purifying the air, but I’m a little disappointed with the aromatherapy function. Despite adding several drops of strong essential oil, the scent is barely noticeable. The aromatherapy pad is housed in a closed compartment except for the top, so the air passes beside it rather than through it. Unfortunately, this design makes it ineffective at dispersing the scent.In terms of maintenance, you will eventually need to replace the filter. The product description says this filter lasts up to 1800 hours, which I assume refers to usage on the lowest speed. If I use this air purifier on low for eight hours a day, the filter would last me roughly 225 days before I need to replace it. At medium or high speed, more air will be forced through the unit, which will cause dust and other particles to accumulate in the filter more quickly. I can’t say how long the filter will last with the purifier running at higher speeds, but I plan on replacing it around the six-month mark. This would mean replacing the filter twice per year. I would recommend checking what the cost of a replacement filter is prior to ordering the air purifier to determine if the maintenance cost is within your budget. The product description contains the information to find the filter.In summary, this air purifier seems to work quite well. The aromatherapy function isn’t very effective, but it’s not a major issue for me. Overall, I think it’s a pretty good value and I will continue to use it.Thanks for reading! I bought it for a small bed room, because we won't open window quit often in winter time, this air purifier did the job, the air quality improved in a couple of hours. not much noise I noticed even at night. I like it.

This is a small air purifier that is meant to cover one room. Depending on your home's layout, the size of the room it covers will vary since 588 sq ft is more than just a small room. However, if your rooms are separated by walls and hallways and is not open concept, I'd limit this purifier to a single room.It's very easy to use as there are three speed settings toggled using one button. There is a light indicator telling you which mode it is on while all three will blink when the filter needs to be replaced. It operates quietly but will be louder as you change modes. It is also good on electricity usage given its size. I rarely open the windows since I'm rather forgetful about closing them at night and would rather not have bugs fly into my home so it does get a bit stuffy. Overall, I noticed an improvement in air quality in the room I use this in.One thing that concerned me was how easy it would be to find replacement HEPA filters. Unlike established brands, you never know how long these new and/or unknown companies stay around and support their products. Thankfully, it seems like there are a couple of options around. If you search for "kq-31" (which is this air purifier's model number), you'll see multiple options ranging from $18-30 depending on if you want to buy it from the same seller or a knock-off version. Although easy to replace, this is an additional operating cost that should be considered.In addition to ongoing costs, this has a short power cable. Ideally, you'd be able to place this in a central location in the room but if you don't have an extension cord or very convenient outlet locations then you're forced to place this closer to where your outlets are.
