This fan was slow to start but worked once it got going for 5 months then quit completely. There is no product support.

Had two already, great fan. Unfortanately, this one arrived damaged. Shipping box damaged, broken parts inside. I could swap new motor and blades with my old fan since in good condition, but why pay money for something that's broken. Not Air Vents fault. Company bought from is responsible. If it wasn't broken, be a very positive review.Update:Company agreed to take back.

As with all items like this one, there are pros and cons. I have listed what I observed in the 1st month or so of use. These Pros and Cons are not meant to sway you one way or the other but to just inform you of possible issues and positives with this FanPros: Small compacted fan with no extras that most people wouldn’t need anyway Easy setup and installation Good power exhausting air Light weight design with easy instructions Low cost unitCons: 1st and foremost, it is LOUD. Have tried every possible mounting and insulating to quiet it down Plastic frame construction that has a great deal of flex and open venting areas Thermostat controller is a basic potentiometer (wire wound variable resistor) that has no calibration to air temp, so hit or miss Can’t be used with variable speed controller, so it’s full blast all the time or not at allBottom line, if it’s a good price and you don’t mind the noise level then it’s a great deal but. If you’re looking for something super quiet and constructed out of heavier components, then keep looking

Good Product. had an issue with the thermostat. company switched it out with no issue. a bit noisier than i would like but there are many variables to this.

This fan works fairly well for what I use it for (glassblowing), but I would like a more powerful fan. It has a major design flaw, the housing has slots on the sides, so there's no channel or duct for the air to go through, a lot of air goes out the sides. I fixed this by taking the blade off, then duct taping all around the inside of the housing to create a channel. It works ok, but it's not quite strong enough

This product works great. Easy to install. The folks at Drillspot provide the best service available. The fan has kept the house cool when the outside temp was over 100 degrees. I look forward to this summer to see how it works on consecutive hot days to reduce my electric bill.
