Fixed the anoying whistle on my 2012 f150. Very very happy about that. Only complaint is the price.Mine also came in black, I couldn't care less about color but some might.

As others have said, it really does work. Installed it backwards on my 2012 5.0 F150 and the noise is gone. Price is kinda a rip off for a cheap little piece of aluminum, but if it keeps me from going into a fit of rage and ranting about Ford engineers for half an hour it was well worth it.

Amazon says this does not fit a 2020, it does, and it stopped the whistle of my 2020 F150 5.0 installed backwards as recommended. Now all I can hear is my typewriter 10 speed and the sweet rumble of the 5.0. Couple gripes tho, package was all beat up and the bolts were smashing the tbs in the package for who knows how long, had to take some sand paper to clean up all the nicks in the aluminum, also missing a washer, pretty weak for $200!

Works perfect on a 2020 f 150 with the 5.0 V8 to get rid of annoying whistle sound. Must be installed backwards to do so

If you have a Ford with the stupid 5.0L whistle (not whine, but high pitch whistle) this will eliminate it ! You do have to install backwards. This is absolutely ridiculous that Ford quality control let this slide, and that this is considered an acceptable noise. Beyond annoying. But thankfully this spacer eliminates the whistle sound. MY TRUCK IS A 2019 F150 with the 5.0L with the authentic Ford whistle.

I installed this spacer to eliminate a whistle sound that was coming from the throttle body on my 19 5.0 F150. When installed backwards this sound is gone, now I can only hear transmission related noises. Very happy to have the annoying nosie gone. Note -it was a tight fit with a roush cold air intake but it has enough clearance as the manufacturer claims it will not fit with some CAI.

Fixed the whistle on my 2018 f150 5.0L, that in and of itself makes this a 5 star purchase. Won't fit along with a cold air filter, not enough room between the intake and the coolant resivoir to fit both, Atleast it didn't fit for me. Quality seemed good, came with everything you need. If your having the same issue with your 5.0L make sure you install this backwards with the intake arrow pointing out not in like the instructions say.

Does not fit a 2017 Ford F150 5.0l V8 as advertised. I had to call the Airaid Tech's directly as it was not making "the whistle" as described. Even they were confused why this would fit a '15, '16, and '18 - but not a '17....The product itself appears to be of high quality and install was relatively easy....

Throttle body spacer was easy to install. Maybe 30 minutes or so. After running a handful of tanks of fuel I've noticed a couple small changes. First thing I noticed was a little better throttle response off the line. Nothing crazy though. The second thing I've noticed is a slight bump up in fuel economy...maybe .5 to 1 mpg at the most. Driving habits have been very similar to before so hopefully it's not skewed with a few more highway miles. Plan on getting a cold air intake soon which should make a little more of a difference.

This was way simpler than i expected, literally 4 bolts and 4 washers that's it. Just take the cold air intake off and you're all set. I also added a cold air i take and i will say i do notice an increase in power.

Ordered on a Wednesday and installed 2 days later. Installation took 20 minutes start to finish on a 2014 Mustang GT Coyote engine.
