Got this as an add on item. Cheap, made of plastic sheet that you can see thru... not that good.

The product is great but you (and many others) are displaying the flag upside down. From the USCG site: "An orange flag with black square above a black circle. The square and circle form is intended to simulate a cylinder-over-sphere dayshape, indicating distress." I was expecting a solid color of orange background and this flag is almost translucent although it is a bright orange and may reflect some light in overcast conditions.

It's a distress flag that meets USCG standards. It's not something I'll ever want to or hopefully need to use, but when that time comes it will do its job. There are grommets to hang the flag if need be, but I bought this for my jet ski so i'll likely never hang it.If you're looking for a flag to meet USCG requirements on a personal watercraft, this does the trick. Comes folded, and it's easy to store on the ski.
