I cannot comment on how well it flys because it's winter where I am and when it has been windy it's also been very cold. But the kite is made out of a light strong plastic weave material, kind of like a very, very, very light tarp, and not that cheap plastic streamer like material. It was very easy to assemble. The color is very vivid. The design is well done on the kite and is not off center like some other cheap kites I have gotten in the past. Comes with a simple hand wind/unwind spool of string that does not lock off that I saw, so be careful with that. I did get it up in the air a little bit by running up and down my street like a fool trying to fly a kite on a warmish day without wind. It went up fairly easily, but obviously came straight down when I got tired of running and stopped. I have no doubt in the spring this will be easy to get up into the air. My son loves the design and we are looking forward to getting it out.Edit: I originally installed the string wrong so was facing the wrong direction. We got it out on a nice windy day recently. Since I installed the string correctly this time it looks fantastic from the ground being able to see the bright colors. Also went up and stayed up really easily. We had a lot of fun.

My nephew enjoyed putting this together and flying it. The plane theme is so fun and the colors are bright and look cool when it’s flying. It held up well, even after a few crashes. Great outdoor fun for a few hours.

As kites go, this one is just “okay”. It’s not as durable as I’d hoped when I ordered it, but it’s very functional and attractive.My son enjoys the comments we get when we fly this kite at the beach.

There’s something undeniably nostalgic and joyful about flying a kite in the soft breeze, which makes it an ideal activity for kids during family gatherings like Easter egg hunts. However, as I discovered last year, sharing a single kite among seven excited children is a recipe for chaos and disappointment. Thankfully, lessons have been learned, and this year my wife is making sure every child will have their own kite to enjoy—problem solved! One of the standout purchases for this year is this adorable and vibrant airplane-themed kite. Not only is it visually appealing with its bright, cheerful colors, but its unique design guarantees that it will catch the attention of every little one (and some adults, too) as it soars through the air. I already know that one young lad in particular is going to absolutely love taking to the skies with this gem of a kite.

Kiddo is obsessed with planes - draws, folds, launches, watches, talks about them allllll the time. So one of the things that will get him off his tablet and out of the house is flying - especially the RC Plane. Unfortunately, we have quite a few days when the wind is too breezy for the plane, so this is a great backup activity for days with winds above 10 mph. Easy assembly, good design, bright colors, flies well, travels well.The kite is a good size (more than 4’ span), but fits into a foot by 4” carrying bag. The single tail is made of a strip of wide kite fabric, so it doesn’t tangle up when you’re carrying it or trying to pack. The string holder has a locking mechanism so you can let out the string and tug while gripping it like a water ski 🫶. The string attaches to the kite by a fishing barrel swivels - which will be easy to replace or repair. The frame of the kite is made well, connects by metal sleeves, and the parts of the frame that connect into fabric were covered in plastic caps so they don’t rip through.

This airplane kite is easy to set up and flies really well. The bright colors look great in the sky, and it’s lightweight but sturdy enough to handle a few rough landings. The included handle and string work fine for casual flying, but you might want to upgrade the string if you plan to use it regularly.It folds down into a small bag, making it easy to carry around and store. Perfect for a day at the park or beach, this kite is a fun choice for kids and adults alike. Simple, enjoyable, and worth it for some outdoor fun.
