Used for 2 legs of our flight. The second leg the belt broke and was unable to be unlatched from the airplane seatbelt.After much struggle the belt was forcibly removed and found that the spring had dislodged in flight trapping the belt onto the airlines seat belt and braking for further use.

Tried to use this extension on 4 southwest flights over the weekend. It worked perfectly on the first two, which were 737-Max8 planes.Couldn't get it to work on the next 2 flights, which were 737-800 flights. I'd buckle the belt and it'd slip right out. I tried many angles, upside down, etc, and couldn't get it to stay buckled. Had to ask a flight attendant for an extension belt.Returned since it won't work on all of their airplanes.

I purchased this extender after experiencing a connecting flight where I had to really suck it in to latch the seat belt. I had never experienced a flight where the seat belt didn't fit and I was embarrassed to have to try so hard to make it fit, especially when I had just exited a flight where I had zero issues. Before my return flight, I chose to purchase this for my carry on, so glad I did. I do wish the size adjustment was easier, but it was fine.

I’m a bigger guy and on about half my Southwest flights I have to ask for a seatbelt extender. Putting this in my backpack saves me tons of hassle and uncomfortably trying to buckle on some flights. It has worked on six flights, but didn’t work on one Southwest flight.

Just took a trip on Southwest and I can confirm this belt is not compatible with the buckle on the 737-700 I was on. Buckle would insert into the latch, but wouldn't lock into place. It was a gamble, but gave it a go, anyway.AA is where I have the most trouble. They seem to have issue with larger folks flying on their aircraft by providing inadequate length safety belts. And I'm not that oversized. I am just big enough the belt doesn't quite reach on the CRJ or EMB planes (2 by 2 seating). I'll update this review once I've had a chance to try it out.Still giving this 5 stars. Build quality is good and appears like it will work when I get on a compatible aircraft.
