My horse chews regular snaffle bits constantly, tosses his head and even tries to pull the reins from my hands sometimes but is a completely different horse with this bit. It feels well made, too.

When I bought my horse I was told he was a roping horse and he had a bit like this with longer shanks and chains attached. I use him for trail riding and didn't like the long shanks and chains shaking around so I switched to this bit and he is perfect in it and seems to like it.
