Let's face it, at this price point, expect neither power nor quality. I just needed something to amplify a talkback mic from a control room into a small podcast studio. Because I only need it to be good enough for communicating, I'm not scrutinizing it for audio quality other than can the speaker be understood without making your ears bleed. As such, this is working well for my modest application. But make no mistake, this thing is cheap plastic junk that weighs next to nothing. On the plus side, other amps in this price range have lots of cartoony lights, shiny buttons and colors to try to get your attention. This one is all (mostly flat) black and is more subdued with just a simple glow around the volume knob. It is easy to ignore which is what I want in a piece of necessary junk like this. If you're considering using this for music or anything that you need to sound pleasant, I highly recommend you keep looking. But if your needs are very basic like mine, you could do a lot worse IMHO.
