I bought two different sizes of these iron pulleys (and a linked drive belt) to replace crappy, fragile zinc pulleys on a belt sander.The belt sander was very noisy just running with no load. Upon inspection, both pulleys were bent and not very concentric, which created a lot of vibrations.With the new pulleys and drive belt, my belt sander is MUCH quieter and much more pleasant to operate. Not to mention that these pulleys aren't going to bend! They're stout. I like that.

Finally found a quality pulley to finish a restoration project an an antique wood jointer! So many other cheap cast pulleys out there of poor material and craftsmanship. i tried 3 other suppliers before finding this one. the others were so far out of true or balance it wasnt even funny. this one is perfect!!
