The connection sound is loud and obnoxious and the sound quality is good enough for a garage.

It was what I was looking for, easy to use and setup, and that is the best part. You practically need a degree in rocket science to use electronics today.

What I like:First, in all fairness, the product advertising transparency is good, as it clearly states the unit delivers 400 watts "MAX" X 2 channels. Anyone who knows anything about home audio, knows that "Max" output or "Peak" output is meaningless. All that matters is the rated output, which in this case is touted as being 40 watts X 2 channels. Manufacturers have been using "Max" output values to bolster sales for many decades. That being said, I ordered this unit for its snazzy light-up display and attractive controls styling, not for the notion of throwing a block party, etc. That being said, I mainly wanted the unit for powering some very small, vintage speakers which I modified, and the resultant sound is everything I'd hoped for, and then some. The sound reproduction is just fine for an average-sized living room and I'm totally satisfied with the sound. Smaller amplifiers like this are often fine for casual listening as long as they aren't pushed to the maximum volume setting. Don't get me wrong, you can turn it up, just don't crank it or you'll likely find that the distortion will increase exponentially toward the very upper end of the potentiometer. The faceplate of this unit is very stylish and it has an "expensive" look to it.I really like the way it illuminates and dresses-up the listening environment.Overall, I am very satisfied with this unit.I especially like the quick Bluetooth connectivity and...the fact that it accepts USB and features an SD slot. The versatility of this unit is truly outstanding. I'm amazed at how many functions they packed into this amplifier with such a small footprint. What I don't like:The unit doesn't overheat and performs beyond my expectations, so I have no dislikes.I would certainly order this item again.

Solved all of my problems. Especially the "line-in" tap to amplify the sound with treble and bass controls.
