This camera is pretty awesome, quite compact and takes great pictures/video. Audio records great with built in mic, even better with external mic (sold separately highly recommend purchasing by the way if sound is important). I had some issues with a two other models but was on a mission for the right one and this one hit in all the places for what I was looking for in a video/camera/audio recorder, mostly something with good picture and sound. A bonus is the front screen for self video or photos which is a major plus that didn’t realize how much I use for adjusting the right angle. Highly recommend this camera/video recorder, was a fan of using phone but this is much easier for recording longer, comfortable especially with some of the accessories included and sold separately make it very versatile. One thing to note is they seem to record videos in 14 min intervals so it starts recording new video after that which is ok now knowing to expect that also stopping and starting is easy so makes it easy to make segment videos. Fun camera that I highly recommend!

Like- price- quality of camera (both video and picture resolution is amazing )Dislike- may not be 100% waterproof... or maybe I was not able to lock it properlyFor this price.. excellent product , will highly recommend to anyone whom wants to buy a sports camera

I have tried this camera just a few times, but it works as expected. Great video quality and all the additional things that come with the camera improves the user experience. I'll keep testing it.

Good action cam but with a few caveatsI've been using the Action Cam for a few months now, and I've been mostly happy with it. It's a great little camera for capturing action shots, and it's very durable. I've taken it hiking, biking, and even skiing, and it's held up well.However, there are a few things I don't like about the Action Cam. First, the battery life is not great. I can only get about an hour of recording time on a single charge. Second, the image quality is not as good as I was hoping for. The videos are a bit grainy, especially in low-light conditions.Overall, I would recommend the Action Cam to anyone who is looking for a durable and affordable action camera. However, if you are looking for the best image quality, you may want to consider a different camera.Pros: * Durable * Affordable * Good video stabilization * Easy to useCons: * Short battery life * Not the best image quality * No touchscreenHere are some additional things to keep in mind: * The Action Cam is not waterproof. * The Action Cam does not come with a memory card. * The Action Cam uses a proprietary battery that can be expensive to replace.Overall, I would give the Action Cam a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

Bought the Brave 4 Pro for our 2024 Galapagos sailing trip. Overall I was very impressed with its capabilities and price point (compared with GoPro). There is a small learning curve to navigate and control settings.Captured snorkeling video with and without the Dive filter (better with filter on) and with the optional floating mount. Also took video and photos on island outings using the 360degree clip to backpack strap. And yes, an accessories kit is pretty much needed.This Brave 4 Pro did not come with an SD memory card. I purchased a 128GB high speed (U3) Scandisk only to learn that the max memory size supported is 64GB. The 128GB does work in the Brave 4 Pro, but I suspect it only uses the first 64GB. Also learned from the instructions that video is shot in 4GB blocks. These memory facts were not mentioned anywhere in the Amazon description of the product.Used the WIFI mode to view videos/photos on an iPad using the Akaso GO app. It worked fine, but the app is geared for the iPhone and does not take advantage of the larger iPad screen size. I did not download videos/photos to the iPad (not enough memory). Also purchased a 1T SSD drive to offload from the Brave 4 Pro. This path requires a PC. It would be nice if the Brave 4 Pro could write to an external SSD drive directly.Likes:* Small size.* Lower price point.* 170degree adjustable viewing angle.* Operating battery time > 1hour.* Really nice video and photo quality.Dislikes:* None found to date (have not tried all the features like electronic image stabilization and time lapse).Surprises:* Max SD storage size is 64GB.* Video is taken in up to 4GB chunks.

For the price, this camera is pretty incredible. I've been very impressed with the image quality, the stabilization and pleased with all the extra kit that came with it. I've used it swimming, snorkeling, diving down to about 15 meters, attached to a bike and on a hand held stick. The waterproof case is great, the underwater footage is ok (small sensor so not great low light) but is fine with an external light, and it's pretty easy to use.2 things I don't like which drop a star. One, the selfie screen on the front of the camera is kind of a joke. Very dim, poor color, difficult to see. It's a gimmick, nothing more. 2. every time you swap the batteries you have to reset all of the date and time settings which is irritating as heck.
