I have been using a swing style heat press for a few years but really wanted something that was easier to use and had a bigger face plate for larger designs as well. I ordered the AKEYDIY heat press due to the 15x15 plate size which is so much easier to use as it has plenty of space to put down my images and not worry about whether they are completely covered by the heat press. There are some other great features to this press though with the best being how the bottom plate slides outward so that you can easily place your items without the threat of burning your hands on the top plate. The temperature and time settings are easy to set and can be done in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. And I particularly appreciate that the alarms on the machine are quiet as my last one was so loud I would deliberately stop it a second early just so I didn't have to hear it. Even though this is great, there are a couple of things to be aware of. You will want a heat glove to help with holding the top of the press down as you release the lever as if you tighten the screw to get good pressure it can be a bit difficult to release. It would actually be great if the machine had a cushion on the top to be able to hold it down as you pull up. And the one problem I found with this heat press is that the base does not like to stay in the screws that hold it down. It kept stripping out of those screws and then causing the plate to be tilted so I had to unscrew and rescrew those screws while the press was blazing hot. I'll try to do this again when it is cooled and hope that fixes the issue. Still such a great machine even with those issues.

Not happy, lower heat plate of the press falls off its rail as soon as I pull it out. Now having a hard time returning it. Return label was not pre-paid, had been messing them but getting automatic response that it is the weekend will response when they can. That is where I am at now.

love this heat press the slid out makes it easier and you don't burn your fingers easy to use and the best part its light weight incase you have to move it to a different location.
