The flame spreader is one of the most important parts of the Aladdin lamp. Your lamp can't burn properly without it. If it is dirty, dented, or cracked in any way, the operation of your lamp will be affected. It's a small, but crucial part, so it's always good to have an extra one on-hand. This model should fit all MAXbrite lamps just fine. For older models, you may need to sand down the bottom edges to get it to fit, if it is too tight.
