This leash is on repeat order over the years! The leash is light weight- but not too light- it retracts nicely, and is a great length for my Pom!

I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to use a retractable leash when walking their dog. This one locks quickly and easily to keep your pet close by your side, such as when cars go by or other dogs are near (or that squirrel makes a run for it). But it also lets your dog explore and stop to sniff while you can continue your pace. It also works very easily and allows you to swing your arms when walking without affecting your dog's movements, so it gives you both a better workout. With a poop bag attachment I have all I need for a good hike for as long as I want.

I have bought 2 of these, the first one lasted about a year and after some pulling from my dog, it snapped. The second one lasted about 5 months and the same snapping issue happened.Don't get me wrong, the Leash is great and holds up really well, it may have been a user/dog problem.

I had a cheap retractable leash from the local dollar store that broke, so I bought this one mainly because I liked the burgundy color. Even though my dog is only 17 pounds, I bought the version for larger dogs. It’s wonderful !! It feels very sturdy and my dog loves to wonder around the backyard without being right by my side. Everything about this leash is great !! Would definitely recommend !!

This works GREAT with my ~50 pound shepherd mix, but was not at all suitable for my 80 pound irish setter. My setter is wayyyyy too strong for it, and I stopped using it with him because I was afraid he would break loose. After using it with my shepherd mix for about 6 months, sadly the line has started to fray pretty bad to the point now I don't use it with him either because the fraying has compromised the strength of the line.

Wow, erste Überraschung: kam viel schneller als erwartet. Habe die Rollleine für meine Cousine gekauft, sie (also ihr Hund) ist total happy damit. Liegt gut in der Hand und die Reflektorstreifen sind super . Die Stopp Automatik funktioniert über einen Finger top. Sie wird auch mal weitere Alcott Sachen ansehen die dazu passen.

Arrivato nei tempi prestabiliti, usato 3 volte con un chihuahua di taglia molto piccola, purtroppo gia' fatiaca a riarrotolarsi, il cane pesa circa 1kg, l' ho gia' aperto per dargli un giro di potenza in piu' alla molla, ma non e' cambiato niente, tirando le somme, direi che il prodotto ha deluso le mie aspettative, ribadisco che l' ho acquistato per un cagnolino di 1/ quando diventera' 2kg.quindi la molla non e' soggetta a strappi.

Two weeka after writing the review below the tape broke. Luckily we were in the house or god know what could have happened...Wouldn’t reccomend....In the 3 years I’ve had my beagle he’s managed to go through 6 Similar designs (x3 flexi, x1 Haiti, and x2 non branded). Hopefully this is lucky number 7...At this point, I’m just happy if they last 6 months to be honest. We’re three month in and all seems fine. Only negative is the tape sometimes twists; but it’s better than having a cord that snaps easily (flexi and non branded did this while in use!).
