Your cart is empty.Aleene's® Paper Glaze adds a clear dimensional layer to card and paper designs, including simple line work and larger design areas. It dries to a hard, nontacky glass-like finish to accentuate design details for dimensional designs and laminating effects on paper. Paper Glaze can be used alone or tinted with acrylic paints, and it won't run colors. It can also be accented with a variety of embellishments, like microbeads, glitter and trims. Brush it on to cover broader areas.

I got this to seal paper flowers. It works as ir should. It can be a little difficult to apply depending on what your sealing, flat surfaces are probably a lot easier then 3d ones for this stuff. But practice makes perfect. It dries very clear and shiny with no bubbles. The sealer itself is pretty thick, which is what makes it a little difficult to work with. But like I said if you just keep working with it, it will become easier.Overall I like the product for sealing paper flowers, it will definitely get the job done.

I bought this for many reasons and hobbies, crafts. It works well with anything I need to do to get some protective shine. It adds depth and realism to the baby dolls I make or repair, for example.

The Paper Glaze goes on very smoothly with almost no air bubbles. Glossy Accents always has multiple bubbles. Glossy Accents does go on thicker to add dimension but if your main purpose is the shine, the glaze is better, in my opinion.

Compared with Mod Podge Multi Dimensional glaze:I laminate paper stickers onto metal tins with a high gloss finish. I always apply one very thin coat (by very soft brush) to allow for sticker soak expansion. Then, after the laminate quickly dries, I re-flatten the sticker and apply a generous coat of glaze with very little wrinkles to work out.I found Aleene’s to be a lot thicker than Mod Podge, which made it very difficult to apply that initial thin coat. It also dries a lot slower, which not only slowed down my progress, but also resulted in quite a bit more color bleed than Mod Podge. The longer the glaze sits wet, the more bleed you get.On the plus side, because Aleene’s dries slower, it does spread out more smoothly (wait for it!) even when using a brush, which doesn’t matter too much the way I’m using it, but might for different projects.Finally, because Aleene’s formula is so thick, I found I had to use a lot more product than when I use Mod Podge to achieve the same effect.I’m going back to Mod Podge, but… this product also provided a clear laminate sheen, which was not disappointing—just not as good as the other brand for this specific application.
