OK, this thing is black with actual black (or smoked) glass rather than clear glass with a layer of black paint on one side, which is the cheap option. It's also rather small. So it was a perfect fit in the small lavatory I was redecorating, hanging above the black glass sink.But there's a couple of cons. There are two ways to mount it: screws into wall inserts or you glue it to the wall. The key thing to note is that there it's held together with machine screws if you glue it and it's held together with the mounting screws if you use the inserts. I did the latter. You'll want 3 or 4 hands if you do the same. Several parts have to hover at the same time. That said I did it with 2 I had in the end.The other issue was minor. I installed the glass plate in it's clamp and noted it didn't want to sit level. Turned out there was a burr at one corner of one clamp that was interfering. All it took was 10 seconds with a metal file to fix and now it's perfect.

I had my contractor install this on the outside of my walkin shower,, its awesome!! Perfect size, perfect spot! Love how it gives you the plug in space to hide yr wires!!!
