This part worked as designed. The part number is for a rear caliper but the description says it’s for a front. The part that comes is for a rear caliper.

If you have a 08-18 Kawasaki KLR 650, this rebuild kit will work for your REAR brake disc caliper.

the most important part does not work. Could not get the piston to retract past the large, lower ring. it is improperly sized.

All the gaskets and rings are too small for the stock 2008 caliper. May fit Gen 1 klrs, I dont know not the right fit for my gen2 though.
