The original had a pole which the shower head adjusted on. I didn't want to drill thru the new tile, so this direct feed was much less intrusive.

Important to know that this is a universal spray holder. It has a 1/2” inlet to a water supply and a 1/2” outlet for any standard size spray handle. The holder doesn’t grab the sprayer handle itself it holds the fitting going into the handle, which is nice because it’s universal then.***It doesn’t come with a mixing valve that gets roughed in the wall by the plumber. This is just a holder, a solid well made holder.

Had to get this to replace the one that came with my faucet set as it was leaking behind the wall. This one is sturdy with a perfect finish. Throw on some plumbers tape and screw in. No leaks. Fit my handheld wand perfectly. Been on for a month now and finish still looks like new.

I prefer to use better fittings in my projects. They may cost more, but in a few years they continue to satisfy when the expense is long forgotten. Solid and attractive.

It is a good quality product. Looks solid build. I have a contractor to install for me with no problem. It is a good product with the good looks, touch and feel ok. Strong finish. Heavy duty.

I ordered this device as a shower wand I had installed didn't come with an integrated clip to hold it. It had one that affixed to the wall separately requiring me to either drill through my tile or use adhesive tape. I attempted the latter with no success. So I found this item with the integrated clip as my solution.My first attempt to install it myself seemed pretty easy. Unscrewed the old hose attachment and noticed there was an additional amount of pipe that went through the tile and screwed into the pipe inside the wall. The original item I had was a female so the pipe had male ends on both. This device doesn't have a removable pipe so it's a male coming out. Alas, I had to have a plumber create the male/female pipe extension I needed to reach the pipe inside the wall. So it wasn't a home fix for this one and I expect you'll have different situations based on your own setup. Otherwise, it's a good looking item and fits my purpose nicely.

I have no idea what I ACTUALLY clicked on when I ordered this, but I'll leave a review for it anyway - it is well machined, and sturdy. Metal polish is attractive.
