I've had the bed about a week now. I put it together myself fairly easily. The frame is very sturdy. Doesn't wobble and the top bunk has rails all the way around. But as many people have said, the slats that go.across the frame on the bottom bunk are not quite long enough to support the mattress as it should. I've had to move there mattress several times to put them back in place only for them to fall through again. I am now looking for a junkie board to.lay across them to Hopefully create a more secure platform for the bottom. Thankfully I am the one sleeping on the bottom bunk so I'm not worried about my kids getting hurt. And the top slats fit perfectly and haven't been an issue. I hope the manufacturer figures out the issue and fixes it. Aside from the one problem it really is a nice bed

I day after receiving the bed it started to fall apart . The rods arnt long enough or sturdy enough to hold a child that’s less then 60 pounds . My son woke up sunk into his bed … I am very very very dissatisfied and disappointed in this bed . Not to mention this was purchased was for the summer for both my kids .my daughter 14 and I fear she will fall through onto her brother .

I love the height of these bunk beds. I wanted something that was tall enough and had enough room for my son to sit up on the bottom bunk without hitting his head.. very easy to put together and very sturdy . Great value and quality .

Very sturdy, well designed, fairly simple to assemble. You will need a second set of hands briefly. The slats are very study and well designed, you will want a rubber mallet or hammer. You may want a better Allen wrench than the small one they give you, a little longer with a ball shape at the end, you can get a set at any big box lumber store. The directions say to do the top slats first, that’s good advice! The top guard rails are on every side but you will need a mattress about 5” thick to stay safely below the top rail.

The product actually does come with instructions on assembly, unlike what the first review wrote. I'm 24 weighing at 105 lbs having had used the top bunk for a week, so far everything is sturdy and reliable. My mattress is 6 inches amd I feel very safe with the amount of rail left to stop me from rolling over. I got this bunk because it looked like it would provide enough headspace for the bottom bunk. We moved my 13 y/o sister's 10 1/2 inch mattress onto the bottom bunk and the headspace left is about 28 inches-- I hunch over as a 5'5" adult and my little sister hits her head sometimes as she's getting out of bed--we're looking to replace it to a 6 inch mattress, and it's looking like that'll provide 32 inches of headspace for the bottom bunk. Top is great, there's so much space difference from my bed to the ceiling I could never hit my head sitting up.
