The Poximo Tactical Survival Multitool has it all and makes a great looking gift. As a senior I have been thinking about how important it would be to keep a glass breaker in our car's console or glove box in case of an emergency when you might be trapped inside and need a quick way out. This kit contains a glass breaker which are said to work without much pressure. If you are a multi-car household, one kit should be in each car.The whistle is one of the most important items in a survival kit in my opinion. I had a friend who got lost from his hunting party many years ago and almost didn't make it. If he'd had a whistle with him he could have been found sooner. After that we always pinned a whistle inside every hunting coat pocket of everyone in the group. If you have this kit in your vehicle and you run off the road some night when no one saw you go down an embankment and are hidden from the road view in deep brush, the simple whistle could save your life.There are so many other survival tools in this kit for most everyone's outdoor needs.

This is a very decent product. I was mainly looking for a flashlight for my tool bag, but this tool showed up and to have extra features is never a bad thing to have. The light is bright for my crawl space and attic work.The extra rope is great If your in a pinch. While also the striker / measure tool is good if you need short measurements quickly. The whistle is good if you want to make a loud noise, but if you want to make a soft whistle it's not that effective. Flint works great with striker, very smooth and can easily start a fire if needed.

Out of the box this tool has a quality look and feel. I agree that this is a great stocking stuffer for just about anyone who owns a car, goes on hikes, or has a well thought out bugout bag. Machining is excellent along the multiple sections. Screws together tightly and stays together. Flashlight is sufficient bright. Whistle has the potential to be very loud if necessary. Ferro rod shaves and sparks extremely well once you scrape off the coating. Great glovebox tool you can recharge in your car. Haven’t tried the glass point but it looks right. Compass is a little wonky but held vertically and still it points dead on compared to my phones compass. My biggest issue with a lot of these tools is they don’t really have a practical real world application in these small packages. This tool isn’t super convenient for an EDC but in a pinch it packs a lot of useful tools in a small and relatively lightweight format. I’m definitely putting one in our go bag and probably going to get another for the glovebox - and a couple for the kids stockings as well. For the price I think this is a great useful gift. Fills a lot of survival niches in a practical little tool.

I have always had a great appreciation for all things that create light. Lucky for me there are countless offerings on Amazon many Jimmy had for less than $20. When I saw this offering not too far north of that I figured I would give it a try. I could not be more pleased that I did; would have happily paid more after getting it in my hands.Everything about this unit speaks quality. The alloy finish in that great color is one of the standout features here. The machine work appears to be first rate. Even the tether on the tail end is much heavier than you would expect. Of most importance it produces an extremely bright and white light. As a test I kept it on for a couple hours last night; at the end the brightness was not even depleted.IMPORTANT NOTE: The flashlight is larger than I had expected from the viewing the pictures in the post. It falls between something that might be considered 'mini' to something just large enough that you might not want to carry it. In a word, PERFECT!

With such a cool device sporting so many unique gadget, I was skeptical about their function.Well, the flashlight is nice and bright with three settings (bright, not so bright and flashing). Plugged it in and the light is red, then green when fully charged.The flint sparks up nicely when struck against the bottle opener which is attached with the cord.The compass is the worst of them all, it takes a little time to give a good north reading, but it does eventually get there when holding it steady.I have not had a chance to use the glass breaking point, but it feels solid.The whistle is VERY loud and high pitched.This multi-tool does a lot of things well. Only wonder how long the battery will last on a full charge, stored away in my glove-box, but suppose I will need to keep on top of it.

This multi-tool has a collection of a half-dozen tools that could all be useful in a survival situation. The flashlight is reasonably bright, and recharges with an included USB-c cable. The whistle can be pretty loud. The firestarter seems like it should work well when scraped with a knife, and the glass-breaker looks plenty heavy and sharp. The compass at the rear is pretty light and not stable, but seems accurate enough.You also get a ~20' length of paracord and a separate flat steel tool with a hex wrench size slot, short ruler and very basic bottle opener.Most of the tools seem fine on their own, but the unit as a whole is rather bulky. Needing to unscrew individual sections to use different tools is not convienent.Personally, this tool's best purpose is to stick in the glove box of your car for emergencies, rather than packing on hikes etc.
