Your cart is empty.Spacers isolate carburetor from manifold, preventing horsepower-robbing heat transfer while also increasing air flow due to the increase in distance from the bottom of the carburetor to the manifold plenum. Spacers are precision CNC-machined in the U. S. from a state-of-the-art polymer compound and can withstand temperatures up to 400deg F. Available in open or four hole versions for popular 4150 and 4500 Holley style carburetors in 1/2 inch, 1 inch and 2 inch thicknesses. Four hole spacers are additionally offered with specially contoured holes which helps increase air velocity under the carburetor. For Drag Race Only.

It worked well, though when I removed it I could see the gaskets on top and bottom had imprinted on the material the spacer is made of.Not sure if this would be a long term issue. Performance of the engine this was on benefited from improved mid range response over an open plenum spacer (dual plane with low center divider).

Unfortunately this spacer didn't line up with my sbc I messaged the seller and he was very interesting I sent it back and refunded me 10-10 on the seller

Stud holes in spacer were too small. So I drilled them to 5/16 and it fit over the carb studs very snugly. Unfortunately it fit over the carb studs to snugly and I had to tap on it to get on. Unfortunately it did not come off as easy. Chunks of the spacer broke off around the studs when I finally got it off. So at this point I had already decided it was junk but i drilled the holes to the next drill size over 5/16 and of course it slides right on but has tons of slop around studs and does not fit the carb opening well. So it is junk and I threw it away.FYI, I bought an High Velocity Heads SS4150-.5AL .500 Super Sucker Tapered" Carb Spacer and it fits the studs and the carb opening perfectly. Guess i will spend the bucks and buy an HVH "open" spacer.Lesson learned I will not buy another one of these

Funciona perfectamente como espaciador y aisla el calor al carburador, instalado sin problemas en un edelbrock 1406, doy 4 estrellas porque no trae junta ni birlos y había otros modelos de precio similar que si lo incluían, por calidad y funcionalidad está impecable

I used this spacer on a customer's engine(499 Chevy) which liked a 4 hole 1 inch spacer best on the dyno. Most of the less expensive spacers are made to fit a 1-11/16 throttle as used on a 4779 etc but not a 950HP as used on this engine. This one fit and worked perfectly.

Paired it with a 0-83670 for a ford 400 6.6L. Intake is blazing hot and the carb remains nice and cool. Plenty of clearance on a 79 F250. It does sit pretty high so if clearance is an issue, probably not a good choice. Otherwise the bigger the space, the better for the carb.
