I purchased this very well made steel fan for a classic car. I removed the 15" clutch fan with 4 blades. Upon easily adding this 17" 6 blade constant turning fan I had immediate reduction in heat!!

The fan is described as an “18” diameter fan when actually the true diameter is only “17” when measured with a standard measuring device.

I got this for my Vermeer wood chipper with a Ford Inline 6. Onan generators also have these great old Ford engines. This fan pulls air through the radiator shroud over the engine, if you're facing the engine front, it turns clockwise. It has good pitch, sturdy, and no whiny noise from bad design. This is a great value. Previous owner put the wrong blade on, and overheated, blowing hot engine air into the radiator. This will draw cool air through the radiator and fan the engine. Make sure you measure from the middle of the shaft to the shroud, and multiply by two. You should end up with ¾ of an inch or so. Mine was the 18 inch blade. I hope this helps everyone else with the same dilemma

I installed this on my 1962 Buick Invicta that are known for cooling problems. It certainly helps move the air through the radiator. It also is a good value and good quality.
