This valve is essentially a copy of the Willwood version. The main issue is that it ships with an adapter that is metric but the valve is1/8" NPT, as such, when I screw on the adapter, the threads were damaged; note, not cross threaded, but compressed as the metric end is slightly larger than 1/8" NPT. I initially thought the resistance was the thread sealer the adapter shipped with. Had I known this issue, I would have just gone to Ace Hardware to get the adapter I need, but seeing how such a simple mistake was made, I can't imagine the valve itself would be safe. In the end, I went with the Willwood version, Wilwood 260-8419. Buy that one and save yourself some wasted money.

The threads in the valve body are aluminum? The brass adapters tore a few threads right out of one port. Careful not to cross thread.

This valve worked like a charm for what I needed it to. I used this like many other people to delete a factory Toyota flawed part that fails causing no rear brakes. The factory load sensing proportioning valve rusts into a wad of unrepairbale junk. If you have basic automotive skills, you can make your Tacoma or 4Runner stop much better than before for $40 instead of $200-$400. Once installed and dialed in, I had zero rear brake lockup issues, truck hadn’t stopped this good in years!!!

Rebuilt the brake system on my 97 tacoma to be used mostly for offroad. The rear load sensing brake proportioning unit was shot so I replaced it with this manual valve. Works better than before.

Installed as expected. No issues at all. I am converting my Lincoln Mark VII to a '93 Mustang Cobra Vacuum Booster with an '86 Mustang SVO Master Cylinder. I bought a gearwrench tube flaring tool and started my conversion. see my picture of the completed setup
