Got this converter to put behind a 5.3 ls th400 combo. Stock trans otherwise. I run a bushing to take up the space, wich works fine with a bone stock converter, but the hub on this all star converter going into the back of the engine is not machined deep enough so the bushing I use won't seat all the way causing me to not be able to bolt the converter to the flexplate being that the gap is to large. Seem like a pretty simple thing to get right when your machining something.No reason that hub should be machined any other way then stock. Seems like it would be fine otherwise but I'll never know now.As usual it won't let me load a pic or a vid.

I made sure I was orderering the correct one. I triple checked before placing the order. Received it and it does not fit. Made sure it was the same one I ordered and it was. The bolt holes don't even line up.

Does what it should been using thier convertors for years always good , replaced a junk oreillys convertor , Amazon stop shipping returns to customers giving this manufactor a bad name.

These are great for the price. Reviews from other people complain about the apperance and finding stock GM lables. These are re-manufactured using old torque converters, replacing major components and making the necessary adjustments to get the the correct stall speed. The appearance does not effect the performance.

I've installed it on my 1984 GMC Sierra Classic 10 shortbed 350 turbo transmission my engine is basically stock as well as the gears in the rear end and the 2000-2200 stall works pretty good has a nice take off and a smooth idle
