so.... I ordered this product specifically to support a US company.. Going through the product details and checking out the company store site you can clearly see it advertise US brand, US company.. It was $20 more than a competitors model, and took 5 more days to get to my house than the Chinese competitor.. but I was okay with that knowing I bought a US companies product... So you can imagine my surprise when it shows up with a big ole made in China print on the side of the box.. opening it up, it is well made, but on the manufacturers plate once again it says made in China... I haven't ran the machine yet, but I am discouraged in the deceptive advertising.

In my current house, my wood shop area shares open space with my automotive restoration area. This means that I do need to frequently need to dust the cars I'm working on when wood projects are also going on. I had a decent single filter (one entry) unit that did ok. But it decided to die on me. Researching, I found this. What I like:* While somewhat loud, it's not as loud as many of my tools. It's about the same volume as my old unit, but with more power. A lot quieter than my shop vac.* Remote control. I'd need a stool to get to it, the remote means I can turn it on as I enter that part of my shop.* Two speeds. Don't need the full power? Just let it run on the lower setting.* Timer. You can set it to run for an hour or two and leave your shop. It will shut itself off.* The black VW Beetle I'm working on has required almost no cleaning. That means the air is actually being cleaned. Second indicator? After about a month, all four filters are showing an orangish hue from the sawdust.* Many mounting options. I mounted it with the fan up (hanging), since it's right over my table saw (I didn't want it blowing the dust right back down on me). You can also mount it with the fan down. It comes with brackets to mount it directly to the ceiling if needed (there, you'll need the fan down).* Easy to install. Heavy, but not too heavy. Comes with chains, hooks and the previously mentioned brackets. What could use improvement:* The display doesn't help you much with the timer. But you can easily see the speed.I, my cars, and my lungs are very pleased with this so far. Very glad I moved from one intake to four. This is much better than what it replaced.

This seems to be a good unit so far, I’m still trying to determine if the suction rate is worth it that’s why I went with four sided. I’ve seen other reviews on. This is a loud unit, but considering the CFM ratio, it appears to be very quiet For a workshop. FILTERS are a downfall for replacement if you can find them they are way overpriced $70 for four of them on Amazon is not a good price recommend finding them somewhere else for a few dollars apiece.

Recently installed this system in my 600 sf shop. Works well in removing dust from the air. Not as loud as stated in other reviews, can still hear radio without too much volume. Unbelievable how much it removes from the air. MY lungs thank me.

It works as designed and marketed. Used it in the room that was being remolded and the filters were coated in dust so much so that the dust would leave a pile on the ground once the unit turned off. That's success in my book. The rest of the house was virtually dust free. Very happy. Note: LOUD!
