I ordered these bandanas to tye dye them with my grands. Before tye dyeing, I washed them so that they would take the dye well. I took them out of the washer (used the hand wash setting) and noticed that there were a few loose strings. Put them in the dryer and when I took them out, I noticed that the edges were fraying because the edges weren't sewn correctly. Because of time restraints, I was not able to return them. Told my grands to leave them with me to re-sew and I will mail them to their house when I am done.

We bought this for a plant pounding class. Students were able to pound plants into the fabric, much like a leaf rubbing. Some turned out very well. I could see these bandanas working very well for tie dye as well. The look and feel of them prior to being used was more table linen-ish than I would have expected. I am very pleased with this product in the capacity we bought it for.

Made sharpie tie dye bandanna’s with these for a family reunion. Washed first. They turned out perfect. Perfect for the price and very light weight.

Bandanas are a square piece of fabric with finishing edges. You can see the 3 I took a photo of are not squares!!?? All of them are like that. No need to post 12 photos of the same problem. Fabric is very thin, and see through. The arrow hem using a long stitching did not prevent fraying at the edges. Fraying in many place within one bandana. The photos were taken after I washed, dried and iron them. Fabric was very wrinkled after washing. It was a gift for my brother, but I can not give him such poor quality items. So surprised that Amazon sell such unprofessional items! If I could give a 0 star in the review, I would. Very, very disappointing.

I am an art teacher and ordered these to be used in class for students. These were a perfect option for my group tie dye projects. These were decent quality for the price and shipping was fast. The 100% white cotton holds dye well. They are very thin and you can see through them, but are great for teaching because they require much less dye than a t-shirt and are very easy to teach different folding techniques, inexpensive, I didn't have to worry about getting the correct sizes, and students could trade their bandannas with any student if they didn't like how theirs turned out. I bought a tie dye kit that claimed it could do 96 shirts, with my classes combined we dyed about 140 of these and still had plenty of dye left over. They are the correct size for wrapping around your head or wearing around your neck. Many of the girls wore them as head bands, or hair ties. They also made cute wall hangings. In the future I will do this project again and we hope to sew the together as a quilt.

I bought a set of these to use as "Kill Rags" for airsoft; a killrag is a brightly colored piece of red fabric you wave around or put on top of your head to indicate to other players of the game that you're out so they don't keep shooting you.The good part of these bandanas? They are a very bright red color and will work perfectly for what I need. They're also very thin, so you can stuff them in a pocket or pouch when you don't need them and they won't take up much space. The bad part? there are a lot of loose threads around the edges of the bandanas; specifically, the thread that is sewn around the perimeter of the cloth to keep it from fraying. I ran these through the washing machine on a delicate cycle to remove the fixative that makes the fabric stiff, and that just worsened the loose-thread problem but got rid of the fixative.Would I recommend this product as a fashion accessory? No; I'd give it two stars because I'd need to fix the sewing before I'd wear it and because it is fairly thin. Would I recommend this for airsoft? Yes, and I'd give it five stars if I didn't need to worry about the sewing.
