Your cart is empty.Pachira aquatica, better known as the money tree plant, is an ornamental, tropical houseplant from southern Mexico to Brazil and Bolivia with an intricate, braided trunk and hand-shaped green leaves. You will receive one money tree plant with a braided trunk and rooted in a decorative 6-inch pot. Also known as Malabar chestnut, Mexican fortune tree, or Saba nut. While it can’t produce currency, the money tree plant is said to bring good luck and positive energy to its human parent, and it looks positively lush, intriguing, and modern as part of your home décor. And three big bonuses, to borrow a money-related phrase: money tree is easy to grow, easy to care for, and indoor-friendly. Native to freshwater wetlands and seasonally flooded forests, among other watery locales, money tree appreciates ambient humidity. If your home environment is on the dry side, you can use an humidifer or a pebble tray to better replicate its humid native environs. If permitted, Pachira aquatica can grow to around 6 feet tall as a houseplant. Provide bright, indirect light. Water thoroughly when the top couple of inches of soil are dry. Investing in a moisture meter can be helpful. Less water in winter months. Feed once a month in spring and summer with a well-balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength. Rarely flowers as a houseplant.

I love him! Received my money tree in great condition. The dirt the plant is growing in was wrapped up in plastic to make sure it didn’t spill out of the pot and the pot itself was wrapped up to help protect it further. And plant in its entirety was delivered in a cardboard box with a long stick in the dirt that reached the top of the box to protect the plant from being crushed in case the box was flipped upside down during shipment. Only had a few mini holes in his leaves from I assume some bugs snacking, but he’s still perfect. Thank you!

The plant came with broken leaves from boxing size I guess. It’s a good size but it’s dying already! I’m very unhappy. If I could return it I would. I paid To much money for this dying money tree for it to be a dud. Will not order from this grower again!
