I had the TS318S for 3 years and used it nearly 100 times, it was a good subwoofer and provided good sound for many events.Made the decision to upgrade to a pair of the new T18S subwoofers and absolutely love them. The crossover is better, the sound is fuller, the SPL and coverage area for venues is significantly improved. These guys were set up in a 50’x24’ venue with 11’ ceileings and I had that place FILLED with Bass. The awesome part is I didn’t even have them cranked above 70-75% of their potential.It’s a great value for the price and great work to Alto for the very noticeable performance improvements.Highly recommended.

I knew it was powerful but man this thing is ground shaking powerful. I use it with my DDJ mixer and ROKIT 8's. A thing I found weird was that the bass doesn't really kick in until you turn past -3 db, which is already too loud and drowns out my speakers. Another thing is that you can't really hear the bass if you're really close to the sub but I think that's how directional subs work? This sub does really good on the low lows, I don't recommend if you need to hit the low mid freq. range.

one will do, but get your hands on two? gahleeee it’ll knock your socks off. paired with 2 alto ts415’s on top, almost sounds professional. needed a 1kw+ generator to power everything but well worth it. neighbor camps weren’t too happy but it’s OUR music that counts.

I have been with alto speakers since Generation 1.I have been using Generation 3 for live sound in my band for several years now. I was super excited when generation 4 came out. So i bought 2 new gen 4 mains and 2 new gen 4 subs (and all of the gen 3 speakers i was going to use for my floor monitors) The Bass from the gen 4 is super deep, punch and clear..in fact much better than the gen 3 subs...the only problem is for some CRAZY reason they took out the built in crossover!!!! Why would they do that?? If they had that one single feature then i would give these a 5/5 review for an amazing sub, however, because they took that away, they are useless for me and i'm sticking with gen 3 subs. Such a shame that they messed this up. So only 1 star because they are useless for me. If you have an external crossover i'm sure these would be these would be great for that application.

It was really easy to set up and tune. And sounded amazing. It has good crisp clean bass and can get loud. If you're thinking about buying I would definitely recommend it.
