From our understanding this product should be new, which is not, then we realize that they were refurnished, which is fine with us, but problem came when we notice that they didn't even test this fuser unit before they ship, or at least they didn't do for us. The customer service was very good, they responded to concern and email in 1 or 2 days. The original problem with the fuser was that the printed pages came with ink mark on it. Then the first replacement they sent; the paper got jam every time we print. And the second one left ink all over the page. for the third unit they sent (last one) As soon as we installed the new fuser, we printed some pages to try it out, but the printed pages faded out, and we thought that was settings issues and not the fuser, then setting was changed to the darkest setting possible, but the printed pages came faded out again. We are not requesting any other replacement since this is the third unit, we received from you that doesn't work properly, and we don’t know if you are sending used/defective units or if this company test them out before shipping.If you plan to buy from this company, I think is ok, but for us it wasn't. We are going to give them 2 starts because they are taking printers parts and send it without testing for sure!.

The Altru Print RM2-6418-AP Fuser fits the same as OEM for HP M477FDN MFP laserjet printer.I found a youtube video that was similar with installation and took my time. Everything fits correctly and the printer doesn't make any noise or printing additional images on the paper.Cost of fuser is almost half the cost from HP.The only thing is shipping related, is returning the core. If I send a core back, shouldn't I get a core charge and a return from the charge? That is all.
